Dr. Samuel Thomas is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon who is excited to join Advanced Orthopedic Center. He is dedicated to providing expert, patient-centered care and treats a wide range of orthopedic conditions, including sports injuries, trauma, and joint replacements.

Dr. Thomas has been practicing orthopedic surgery since 2019 and has been serving patients locally in Florida, including Sarasota and Manatee counties, since 2021.

Originally from upstate New York, he earned his medical degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Bradenton, Florida. He then completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Jack Hughston Memorial Hospital in Columbus, Georgia, widely regarded as the birthplace of sports medicine.

In his free time, Dr. Thomas enjoys working out, playing basketball, golfing, traveling, snowboarding, playing with his two dogs, and spending time with his son and beautiful wife.
