On-Site Facilities
Seeking out diagnostic tests and treatment facilities for an orthopedic condition is often the last thing our patients want to do. At Advanced Orthopedic Center, we want our patients to focus on getting their treatment diagnosed and receiving treatment without having to stress. That’s why we’re proud to host a variety of on-site facilities.
These facilities allow our patients to receive MRI testing, X-rays and physical therapy treatments just steps away from our main office. These services are exclusive to only our patients.
MRI
An MRI is a noninvasive diagnostic test that uses powerful magnets to produce detailed three-dimensional images of your screened areas. Unlike an X-ray, an MRI allows our physicians to get a 360-degree view of your screened areas, complete with imaging of the muscles and soft tissues surrounding the bones.
Our physicians most commonly use MRIs to get a better view of their patient’s muscles, spinal cord, nerves, tendons, and ligaments. We may ask that our patients receive an MRI to diagnose pain or discomfort coming from their back, muscles, or potential pinched nerves.
X-Rays
X-rays are another noninvasive diagnostic test that allows our physicians to get a better view of what’s going on in a patient’s body. Unlike an MRI, an X-ray is used to view the bones and skeletal structure. X-rays are often the first step our physicians will take in diagnosing a traumatic orthopedic injury, as it will reveal any bones that may have been fractured during the patient’s accident.
If you’re experiencing bone and joint pain, our physicians may ask that you receive an arthrogram. This type of diagnostic test involves an X-ray with the use of a contrast material like dye to provide our physicians with a clearer image of the softer tissues surrounding your bones.
Physical Therapy
Our physical therapy facilities allow our patients to get the treatment they need without a lengthy wait, all in a convenient location. Physical therapy is a noninvasive treatment that allows our patients to strengthen their affected areas and regain full range of motion.
