Dr. John Braut DO, Coming May 1st to AOC
Dr. John Braut will begin seeing patients at Advanced Orthopedic Center in May, continuing his long-standing care in the Punta Gorda community.
He earned his medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, followed by an AOTrauma fellowship in Switzerland.
Dr. Braut specializes in general orthopedics, including fracture care, arthritis treatment, joint replacement, shoulder and rotator cuff surgery, knee injuries, and minimally invasive arthroscopic procedures. He is also certified in MAKO robotic-assisted partial knee and total hip replacement.
Known for his patient-centered approach, Dr. Braut focuses on conservative treatment options first, while ensuring patients feel informed and confident if surgery is needed. His goal is to relieve pain, restore function, and help patients return to the activities they enjoy.
