Meet Jacob Pennington, DO
Fellowship Trained in Hip & Knee Surgery
Dr. Jacob Pennington is a fellowship-trained, board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in total hip and knee joint replacements. He joined Advanced Orthopedic Center in 2021 after completing his fellowship in Adult Total Hip and Knee Reconstruction at the renowned Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio.
Dr. Pennington performs more than 500 hip and knee replacement surgeries annually and is highly skilled in soft tissue- preserving anterior hip replacement techniques. He is the only surgeon in Charlotte County offering both partial and total knee replacements without the use of a tourniquet (tourniquet- free total knee replacement). He also offers same-day joint replacement surgeries, allowing patients to recover in the comfort of their own homes.
Outside of the operating room, Dr. Pennington enjoys golfing, fishing, boating, and traveling with his family. He is a proud Kentucky native, he's also a devoted fan of Kentucky basketball.
